There Is A Role For James Gunn Behind The Election Of Zachary Levi As Shazam!

JAKARTA - Apparently, the director of The Suicide Squad, James Gunn was also responsible for helping Zachary Levi to portray the character Shazam !. Do not believe? This is the proof.

Gunn revealed this in a question and answer session on Instagram when asked about the truth of the news that Levi had auditioned for the role of Star Lord in Guardians of the Galaxy.

In addition to confirming the truth of the information and admitting that he and his team had considered giving Levi the role, Gunn then mentioned how producer Shazam! asked him for ideas about a suitable actor to play the superhero from the DC Extended Universe.

Gunn's positive comments made Levi's ball roll which ultimately landed the role of Shazam!

Inspired by Gunn's comments and responses to the question, Levi then posted on his Instastory about his gratitude for what Gunn had to say. He went on to say how Shazam! changed his life, which is why he is indebted to Gunn.

Levi also shared how he would be happy if he could one day work with Gunn. Meanwhile the director replied by saying he would also be very happy.
