Different Ways Doddy Sudrajat Assess Donations: Gala Called Begging, Mayang Called Scholarship

JAKARTA - The news that Vanessa Angel's sister Mayang received a scholarship at the Faculty of Medicine at Moestopo University made netizens remember the act of raising funds to buy a house for Gala.

Doddy Sudrajat emphasized that the scholarship was given personally by someone. "There is someone who gave a scholarship to Mayang to study the Faculty of Medicine at Moestopo. So the scholarship is personal," explained Doddy Sudrajat.

Who is the personal scholarship giver? "There is someone that Daddy can't name. This person is very kind and he is the one who gave Mayang a scholarship," he said.

Unfortunately, the Chancellor of Moestopo University explained that Mayang did not pass the entrance selection. "From the test results, Ms. Mayang is declared to have not met the standard values set by the Faculty of Dentistry," said Moestopo University Chancellor, Prof. Doctor Paiman Raharjo, quoted from Agista Media's YouTube show quoted Wednesday, July 6.

"FKG is indeed very strict, different from other faculties. There are criteria and standards set by the Health Education Association. Because it is very strict, the standard value is 75. If it is below that, it cannot be accepted," he explained.

Judging from Doddy's statement, there is a significant difference when talking about donations. When Marissya Icha, a celebgram and friend of Vanessa Angel's, made a fundraiser for the Gala, Doddy said the action was begging.

The good intentions did not get a positive response from Vanessa Angel's family. Doddy and Aunt Vanessa admitted that they did not agree with the house donation and thought they were begging.

Icha, who was present at the house sale contract, explained that the total funds collected were actually IDR 2.7 billion. However, only IDR 2.4 billion was taken to buy a house.
