Selectively Choose Projects, Ammar Zoni And Irish Bella Act Again Through Pure Honey Film

JAKARTA - Ammar Zoni and Irish Bella are back in acting through the film Madu Murni. Directed by Monty Tiwa, this film is their longing to greet fans through their work.

Besides longing, they are also challenged because the film Madu Murni has an interesting story, namely polygamy. Therefore, they did not think twice when accepting this offer.

"I want to make a comeback with something memorable, so when we get this offer, we immediately take it because we want something different from before," said Irish Bella at the Madu Murni press conference on Tuesday, June 21.

"It just so happens that we are united in one production. But yes, the desire to play together is great, too," said Ammar Zoni.

Pure Honey tells about the life of polygamy. With Musfar Yasin's scenario, Ammar admitted that he was very happy with the story of this film.

"We are selective in choosing projects. Actually, we chose films that had social and moral values. Madu Murni is one of the films that inspires us,” explained Ammar Zoni.

“If you see it in the trailer, it's funny, but there is an interesting atmosphere and message that Mr. Monty made. I enjoy working with the players," he continued.

Madu Murni tells the story of Mustaqim (Ammar Zoni), a former Koran teacher who works as a debt collector. His wife, Murni (Irish Bella) does not want to accept Mustaqim's income.

As a result, Mustaqim chooses to marry Yati (Aulia Sarah) and tries to provide for the household. However, it was not easy because there was a conflict between Yati and Mustaqim including Murni's side as the first wife.

Madu Murni will be screened in Indonesian cinemas starting June 30, 2022.
