JAKARTA - Amber Heard could not hide her disappointment when the jury finally decided on a verdict in the defamation case between actor Johnny Depp and himself. The jury was of the opinion that both of them had contributed to defame each party.

Depp celebrated the verdict as a victory and Heard said he was so disappointed he was left speechless. Heard had to pay $15 million in damages, while Depp paid $2 million in damages.

The tip of Depp's right middle finger snapped off during an argument with Heard at their rented house. Depp said he injured his finger when Heard threw a bottle of vodka at him.

Heard says he doesn't know how it happened, but the incident may have happened when Depp hit the phone against the wall. Both parties agree that Depp used his blood to write messages on walls, lamps and mirrors in the house.

Feces on the bed

One of the many unusual incidents discussed in court was the story of feces being placed on the bed, on the side where Johnny Depp used to sleep. The actor said he received photos of "human feces" on the bed after he and Heard had a fight on Heard's 30th birthday.

The wife tried to blame their dog, but Depp said there was no way a dog weighing only two kilograms could produce such feces. Heard said a dog developed digestive problems after eating Depp marijuana as a child.

Audio and video recordings of abusive arguments between Depp and Heard are evidence. In one video Heard shot in their kitchen, Depp can be seen screaming, slamming cupboards and pouring himself a large glass of red wine.

Heard admitted to receiving thousands of death threats. "People want to kill me and they say it every day," he said.
