JAKARTA - Nominasi penghargaan Billboard Music Awards 2020 diumumkan pada hari ini, Rabu, 23 septembre. Sejumlah nama musisi dari Amerika Serikat dan luar negeri bersaing merebutkan penghargaan.
Dalam gelaran tahun ini, rappeur Post Malone memegang jumlah nominasi terbanyak yakni sebanyak 16 nominasi. Nominasi ini ia dapatkan dari album Hollywood’s Bleeding serta lagu Sunflower untuk film Spider-Man: Into the Spider Verse.
Di urutan selanjutnya ada Lil Nas X yang meraih 13 nominasi. Setelah itu ada Khalid dan Billie Eilish yang kompak meraih 12 nominasi. Di belakangnya ada Lizzo yang mendapat 11 nominasi.
Kanye West yang terakhir kali merilis album rohani berjudul Jesus is King mendapat sembilan nominasi yang kebanyakan berkaitan dengan kategori gospel.
