Free From 13 Years Of Conservatory, Britney Spears To Launch Memoirs

JAKARTA - Britney Spears will tell all her life stories through a memoir and has agreed with publisher Simon & Schuster to publish it, as quoted by The Hollywood Reporter, Tuesday. The deal is said to be worth as much as 15 million US dollars. Simon & Schuster got the deal after competing offers from several publishers. In the book, Spears will reportedly tell of his professional and personal life. The deal comes months after a Los Angeles Superior Court judge officially ended Spears' 13-year guardianship exercised by her father, Jamie Spears, in 2007. Spears gave emotional testimony in June last year, in which she publicly stated for the first time that she felt the conservatory was rude and that he couldn't live life to the fullest. News of Spears' book deal also emerged after her sister Jamie Lynn Spears released her memoir, "Things I Should Have Said". While promoting her memoir, Jamie became embroiled in a public feud, for making claims about Spears in an interview and selling copies of his book. Jamie also did an interview with Juju Chang of ABC News on Good Morning America, where he discussed passages he wrote about Spears.

In one section, Jamie writes about an incident in which his sister, frightened, took a knife and locked herself and Jamie in a room. She also wrote about a time Spears "faced her face" during a confrontation. Spears hit back in a thread shared on her Twitter, where she stated that her sister's comments about her behavior bothered her. I was out of control. He was never near me 15 years ago at that time…so why are they talking about it unless he wants to sell books for money??? Really???" wrote Britney Spears.
