It's True That People Say, Jaz's New Song Is About First Love

JAKARTA - Singer Jaz Hayat has released his newest song entitled True Orang Say. This song is one of the releases that Jaz has kept for a long time since he first stepped foot into the country.

True Orang Says is a pop song with light lyrics written by Jaz and Dimas Wibisana. The song tells about someone's expression when their relationship is forbidden by their parents.

“You could say, this song tells about my first love. I've been dating for five years at a young age, about 15-16 years. So, my ex's parents objected to our relationship because they were considered too young," said Jaz. "After five years, we decided to separate. So, this song describes the moment when we were apart. Maybe, those who have experienced first love like me can relate to this song,” he explained. Interestingly, this song has been made as a candidate for the first single in Indonesia. Jaz sent the song True Orang Bilang in demo form along with several other songs but at that time the chosen song was Dari Mata.

“Then, when I was looking for songs for my first single in 2022, I remembered my old songs, one of which was “True Orang Says this.” When it was sent to the label, this song turned out to be liked and finally it was chosen as my newest single,” said the singer from Brunei Darussalam. The completion of the song Benar Orang Bilang did not take long because Jaz was helped a lot by Dimas Wibisana. This collaboration makes a simple pop song that is easy to enjoy. “I explored a lot in my latest singles, according to my second album, entitled Transition.
