JAKARTA- Drug trafficking is very close to people's lives. In difficult conditions, many people cannot refuse to be involved in the circulation of these illicit goods. Comedian Marshel Widianto has experienced this.

On Deddy Corbuzier's YouTube channel, Marshel admitted to being a drug courier. The comic became a drug courier when he was 6 years old.

At that time, he said, his family lived below the poverty line. It's good to eat instant noodles once a day. Marshel becomes a drug courier in order to get a Tamiya toy car as payment.

At that time he did not know that his actions could be criminalized. The memories traumatized him and he was afraid to repeat his actions.

Marshel's economic life began to move up after he joined the Stand Up Indo community in North Jakarta. Successfully entering the top 20 at Indosiar's Stand Up Comedy Academy Season 3 in 2017, Marshel was paired by senior comedian Adjis Doaibu to become his assistant.

After that, Marshel Widianto became famous and got an offer to fill the event. His name skyrocketed even more after starring in his first film, Laundry Show (2019).
