JAKARTA - The 2022 Gaon Chart Music Awards as an annual music awards event was successfully held on Thursday, January 27 in Korea. This year's Gaon Chart Music Awards will be held again live at Jamsil Arena, Seoul.

Initially, this event will be hosted by Super Junior's Eunhyuk and STAYC's Sieun. But because Eunhyuk tested positive for COVID-19, he was replaced by NCT's Doyoung and JaeJae. NCT 127, NCT Dream, Red Velvet, SHINee's Minho, SNSD's Tae Yeon (Girls' Generation) were the performers in this event.

Many categories are featured in this event. The winner is judged by judging the performances of the artists during December 2020 to November 2021.
