Wamenaker Immanuel Ebenezer Asks These 6 Provinces To Immediately Announce The 2025 UMP

Deputy Minister of Manpower (Wamenaker) Immanuel Ebenezer Gerungan appealed to six provinces to immediately announce the provincial minimum wage (UMP) 2025.

The six provinces are East Nusa Tenggara (NTT), West Nusa Tenggara (NTB), North Sulawesi (Sulut), Papua Mountains, West Papua and South Papua.

"Last night, it was actually today, yes, lastly, yes. Although some provinces are not ready yet. But this has become a decision. It should have been a decision," said Wamenaker Noel as quoted by ANTARA, Thursday, December 12.

The man who is familiarly called Noel said that the six provinces that have not announced the UMP can follow the rules that have been agreed upon.

"Yes, there are six regions that are not yet. But they will definitely adapt to decisions that have become decisions that we cannot revoke again," he explained.

Meanwhile, the Director General of Industrial Relations and Social Security (PHI Jamsos) of the Ministry of Manpower, Indah Anggoro Putri, said that until December 11, 2024 at 20.45 WIB, there were six provinces that had not yet determined the Provincial Minimum Wage and Sectoral Wage (UMSP).

"There are six provinces that have not yet determined the UMP and UMSP, namely NTT, NTB, North Sulawesi, Papua Mountains, West Papua, South Papua," he concluded.
