Tickets For The New Christmas And New Year 2024 Holiday Trains Sold 21 Percent

JAKARTA - PT Kereta Api (Persero) or KAI noted that 445,704 long-distance train tickets had been sold for the 2023 Christmas and 2024 New Year (Nataru) periods. This figure is also with 21 percent of the total tickets provided.

Meanwhile, KAI has determined that the Christmas and New Year's Transport (Nataru) will take place from December 21, 2023 to January 7, 2024.

KAI's VP of Public Relations Joni Martinus said the number of tickets sold would continue to grow considering ticket sales are still ongoing.

Meanwhile, as of Friday (24 November) KAI recorded that 445,704 long-distance train tickets had been sold or 21 percent of the tickets provided," he said in Jakarta, Friday, November 24.

Furthermore, Joni said, the public can already buy regular long-distance train tickets that are available in the Access by KAI application, the kai.id website, minimarkets, and all train ticket purchase channels starting from H-45.

Ticket purchases at the station counter are only available for train departures starting 3 hours (go show).

"People can immediately book tickets because the Nataru River train tickets are still quite widely available," he said.

Joni said the trains (KA) that have become favorites for Nataru Transportation so far include the Bengawan train for the Pasarsenen-Purwosari pp relation, and the Airlangga train for the Pasarsenen-Surabaya Pasarturi pp relationship.

"Then, the Kahuripan train for the Kiaracondong-Blitar pp connection, the Sri Tanjung train for the Lempuyangan-Ketapang pp relationship, and others," he said.
