The Collaboration Between Perbakin And Bank DKI To Hold The 2023 Bank DKI Cup National Shooting Championship

JAKARTA - The Executive Board of the Indonesian Shooting Association (PB Perbakin) with full support from Bank DKI, held the 2023 Bank DKI Cup National Shooting Championship. The Championship, which is also a qualifying event for the MQS (Minimum Qalification Score) PON Aceh - North Sumatra in 2024, was held from October 29 to November 5, 2023, followed by 635 athletes from all provinces throughout Indonesia, including 16 athletes from Malaysia.

Interestingly, the Acting Governor of DKI Jakarta, Heru Budi Hartono, won first place in the Individual Pistol category at the 2023 Bank DKI Cup National Championship in Jakarta on Sunday 5 November.

The chairman of PB Perbakin, Lt. Gen. (Ret.) Joni Supriyanto, expressed his gratitude to the Acting Governor of DKI Jakarta, Heru Budi Hartono and his staff (including Bank DKI), who have held several shooting championships to prepare athletes at the 2024 PON event.

"We have the best training motto is to compete. We are targeting DKI Perbakin athletes to win gold medals in the 2024 PON," he explained.

He added that PB Perbakin had a big dream of donating a gold medal at the upcoming Olympics.

"We are optimistic that we will win a gold medal in international sporting events," he said.

Acting President Director of PT Bank DKI, Amirul Wicaksono in his speech appreciated the shooting athletes who have mental and engineering readiness and talents to compete and bring the good name of DKI Jakarta Province to the national and international arenas.

"How great our shooters are. In addition, shooting sports also bring a philosophy that teaches us to focus on achieving the target," said Amirul.

For information, the handover of prizes at the peak of the National Shooting Championship 'Bank DKI Cup 2023' on November 5, 2023 was given to a number of categories, namely the Men's Individual Category, the Women's Individual Category, the Mixed Team category to shoot the 25 M Distance Precision, and also the same category to shoot the Executive distance 20 M.

Bank DKI Corporate Secretary, Arie Rinaldi expressed his appreciation for the holding of the National Shooting Championship "Bank DKI Cup 2023" as a form of good collaboration between agencies in supporting the achievements of the City of Jakarta.

Also JakCard, prepaid smart cards as a means of payment for integrated public transportation modes in Jakarta, such as Transjakarta, MRT, LRT, Airport/Railink Trains, Jabodetabek Commuter Line, access to entrances for a number of museums and tourist attractions managed by the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government, to payments for certain toll roads.
