Semen Baturaja EGMS Appoints Suherman Yahya As President Director, Here's The Board Of Directors

JAKARTA - PT Semen Baturaja Tbk (SMBR) the arrival of the new President Director, namely Suherman Yahya, who was previously the Director of Operations Functions. This was decided at the company's Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders (EGMS).

Suherman Yahya replaces Daconi Khotob who has been honorably dismissed by the company, as at the EGMS in Jakarta.

In addition, shareholders approved the resignation of Francis MA Sibarani as President Commissioner, who was later replaced by Alex Iskandar Munaf.

Then, the shareholders also appointed Muhammad Syafitri as Director of Operational Functions previously held by Suherman Yahya.

On this occasion, former President Director of SMBR Daconi Khotob expressed his appreciation to every member of the company who has worked together for the last seven years.

"I wish SMBR the best in the future with a new board of directors, hopefully SMBR will be more successful and more successful, I also hope that employee welfare will increase," said Daconi.

Thus, the current composition of the company's Board of Commissioners includes President/Independent Commissioner Alex Iskandar Munaf, Independent Commissioner Chowadja Sanova, Commissioner Inosentius Samsul, and Commissioner Hadi Daryanto.

Then, the Board of Directors included President Director Suherman Yahya, Director of Operations Function Muhammad Syaftri, and Director of Finance and Human Resources (HR) Rahmat Hidayat.

This state-owned company PT Semen Indonesia Tbk (SMGR) posted revenue which rose 10 percent year on year (yoy) to IDR 1.45 trillion in the third quarter of 2023, supported by cement sales which reached IDR 1.42 trillion.

During this period, the company's net profit grew 25 percent (yoy) to Rp53.96 billion, compared to the same period last year, which was supported by a decrease in interest expense as a result of refinancing bank loans and accelerating the payment of principal syndicated loans.
