KCIC Claims a Number of Tourist Locations Are Crowded with Visitors Due to the Whoosh Ticket Promo

JAKARTA - PT Kereta Cepat Indonesia China (KCIC) has rolled out a number of promos for free entry to tourist destinations in Bandung using Whoosh Fast Train tickets.

This collaboration with tourist destinations is claimed to increase the number of visitors.

The promo offered to passengers is in the form of Free Entry or free entry fees to the tourist destinations Dusun Bambu, Farmhouse, Floating Market Lembang, and The Great Asia Africa.

KCIC Main Director Dwiyana Slamet Riyadi explained that the presence of this promotion with tourist destinations in Bandung received a good response from passengers.

This is proven by the large number of passengers who have taken advantage of the promos provided to visit popular tourist destinations in the Greater Bandung area.

"Since Whoosh operated and the tourist destination promotion opened, the number of passengers taking advantage of the promotion has reached more than 2,500 passengers," he said, written Monday, October 30.

Dwiyana said that this collaboration with tourist destinations indirectly increases the number of tourist visits in Bandung and its surroundings.

"This is proof that the presence of the Whoosh Fast Train not only helps community mobility but also has an impact on economic and tourist movements.

Apart from business people and students, tourists are also one of the target markets for the Whoosh Fast Train.

Many passengers travel to Bandung on the same day using the morning train from Halim, and return by evening train from Padalarang or Tegalluar.

"However, there are also passengers who return home on different days, which will also help in increasing hotel occupancy in the Bandung area. "The many restaurants, cafes and culinary tourism are also helped by the presence of Whoosh," said Dwiyana.

Furthermore, Dwiyana said, this could be seen from the number of passengers who brought typical Bandung souvenirs during the trip, or posted their activities while having lunch in Bandung, and returning to Jakarta in the afternoon or evening.

Dwiyana said, for people who want to get this promo, just show their Whoosh Fast Train ticket, either physical or QR Code, to officers at tourist destinations who have collaborated with KCIC.

“One ticket is only valid for one person and can be used to all destinations listed. "Tickets are valid until H+15 after the departure of the Whoosh Fast Train trip," he said.
