Indonesia AirAsia's Strategic Role: Support The Government Encourages Air And Tourism Connectivity From Kertajati International Airport

JAKARTA - Indonesia AirAsia focuses on a positive contribution to the government's plan to make Kertajati International Airport the main gateway for flight connectivity for the Greater Bandung (Cimahi, Sumedang and surrounding areas) and the Ciayumajakuning (Cirebon, Indramayu, Majalengka, and Kuningan) areas.

Through strategic steps, including the complete transfer of airline services from Husein Sastranegara Airport (BDO) to Kertajati International Airport (KJT), as well as the launch of its newest international and domestic routes, AirAsia continues to expand access and spur connectivity to support the development of the tourism sector in the local area to all corners of Indonesia.

Being one of the largest airports in Indonesia today, Kertajati International Airport is located in a strategic location in Majalengka Regency, which is supported by the accessibility of the Cisumdawu (Cileunyi - Sumedang - Dawuan) toll road. With world-class facilities and services, this airport also provides various public transportation solutions, including shuttle services around the area.

"For the inaugural flight, this number is quite large and proves a high positive interest from the community.  Sekaligus merayakan peresmian dimulainya operasi penuh Bandara Internasional Kertajati oleh pemerintah pada 29 Oktober 2023 nanti, Indonesia AirAsia juga siap membawa pelanggan setianya dari Kertajati (KJT) ke Denpasar (DPS). Tiket untuk rute ini sudah tersedia untuk pemesanan dengan harga mulai dari Rp 670ribu untuk sekali jalan.

AirAsia also facilitates airline domestic flights with a free trunk quota of 20 kg and a cabin baggage quota of 7 kg, as well as other attractive offers.
