JAKARTA - On Sunday, October 22, it coincided with the Car Free Day event, PT Bayan Resources Tbk (Perseroan) through Bayan Peduli held a Pre Event BAYRUN for Charity 2023 on Jalan Jenderal Sudirman, Jakarta.

The event is a series of events held by Bayan Peduli as one of the superior Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programs carried out by the Company as a form of support for children who are cancer survivors, especially from pre-health families.

The series of pre Event BAYRUN for Charity 2023 events was attended byLAW as Director of the Company and Alvian as Head of Digital and Campaign for the Indonesian Yellow Band Foundation.

Bayan Peduli is a corporate philanthropic initiative carried out by Dato' Dr. Low Tuck Kwong as the founder of the Bayan Group which was founded in April 2022. Carrying out a mission to provide a positive social impact for the community, Bayan Cares actively promote and organize various CSR programs that have an impact on addressing issues under the four main pillars, namely Education; Health and Welfare; Socio-Economic and Cultural; and Environmental Sustainability.

In the scope of the CSR program carried out by the Company, this year Bayan Peduli will resume implementing sports programs to support public health. Bayan Peduli already has several programs to encourage positive changes in Indonesia by supporting various national and international sporting events.

Bayan Peduli has become an important part of events such as the Bayan Open 2022 and 2023, the ASEAN Para Games 2022 and 2023, the Asian Para Games Hangzhou 2023, as well as the Road to Para Olyimpic 2024 in collaboration with the Indonesian National Paralympic Committee. This year Bayan Peduli again collaborated with the Indonesian Children's Yellow Band Foundation to hold a BAYRUN for Charity 2023 to help children who are struggling with cancer and their families.

We hope that this year's running event will become a forum for social fundraising, where we will provide 100 percent of the collected funds to the Yellow Band Foundation to help our children and younger siblings who are struggling with cancer. Bayan Peduli wants to invite friends to participate in the Bayrun for Charity 2023 event, which we run not only to improve health but also simultaneously carry a noble mission to our friends in need," he said.

BAYRUN for Charity 2023 which will be held on November 26, 2023 with the 5K, 10K & Half Marathon Fundraising category located in the West Plaza area of GBK.

This event is not only about winning the finish line, but also celebrating positive changes that we can create together. This concept gives the meaning to change the simple moment of running, to a heart-to-heart struggle for a much better treatment of cancer in the future.

Through collaboration with the Indonesian Children's Yellow Band Foundation, Bayan Peduli is able to help children who are cancer survivors with a wider reach.

The Yellow band itself is a philanthropic foundation for children (age 0-18 years) who are suffering from cancer from pre-sesejahtera families, comes with a mission to improve their quality of life and provide psychosocial services for children with cancer and their families.

After helping 8,000+ children since their founding in 2007, the Yellow Band is now focusing on providing regular assistance and assistance to cancer fighters (and will continue to grow) in Indonesia, from Jabodetabek, Yogyakarta, Bali, to Medan.

Public enthusiasm for BAYRUN for Charity 2023 was seen in the pre-event: Run with Community Series 2 which was attended by more than 200 participants to run and exercise together around Jalan Jenderal Sudirman. The series of events was also accompanied by talk shows to find out about the program to be carried out by Bayan Peduli with the Indonesian Children's Yellow Band Foundation.

The number of runners who have registered also continues to increase from the start of registration opening until today the number of runners who have registered has reached 2,288 people from all categories.

"Initially we targeted 2,600 runners who would participate, but due to the high demand from the community, we will open new slots of up to 3,000 participants who will be deployed in each category," saidvillage.

He also revealed the amount of donations that have been collected to date while inviting people who want to contribute to cancer patients in Indonesia.

"Until today, the amount of donations has reached 450 million rupiah. We hope that the amount of donations will continue to increase and we will hand over everything to the Yellow Band Foundation to help cancer children in Indonesia," he explained.
