Encourage Productivity, Bank BTN Focuses On Maintaining Employee Mental Health

JAKARTA - PT Bank Tabungan Negara (Persero) Tbk (BTN) continues to encourage increased employee productivity. One of them is by developing a comfortable work environment through various programs to maintain the mental health of its employees.

Director of Human Capital, Compliance & Legal Bank BTN Eko Waluyo said that his party continues to try to make the company's employees work comfortably so that their performance is more productive.

"We see that the mental health of employees created from a comfortable work environment is very important for employee productivity. We have carried out many initiatives, lastly, employee assistance programs that can accommodate employee complaints related to the problems faced," said Eko in Jakarta, Thursday, October 19.

Eko emphasized the importance of maintaining the mental health of these employees because currently Bank BTN has great potential with the composition of employees who are dominated by the millennial generation or reach 85 percent.

For this reason, Bank BTN is also active in holding seminars related to mental health, one of which is the Mental Health Talk event in commemoration of World Mental Health Day with a Paliative Expert speaker from Soetomo Hospital, dr. Agus Ali Fauzi.

To maintain the productivity of these employees, Eko also revealed the need to implement policies that support the work environment so that all employees respect each other. Bank BTN strongly opposes acts or actions that are classified as sexual harassment and divide unity related to ethnicity, religion, race and intergroup (SARA).

"Respectful Workplace Policy, starting from sexual harassment or sexual harassment should not exist, SARA, and so on, it should not exist in our environment so it must be understood and implemented," he said.

According to Eko, in order to create a comfortable work environment, his party invites all employees to support each other in giving thought and acting positively.

"Friends can spread the spirit and spirit of encouraging each other. Because we are a family, let's encourage each other and make BTN's extended family a compact and harmonious family," he said.

Bank BTN, added Eko, is also committed to continuing to pay attention to welfare and provide the support needed to maintain the mental health of employees.

Eko emphasized that in addition to the Mental Health Talk event, Bank BTN also continues to develop employee welfare programs and policies that support mental health in the workplace.
