KAI Rekayasa Perjalanan KA Imbas Anjloknya Argo Semeru

JAKARTA - PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) carried out an operation pattern engineering by turning the train which should have gone through the southern route, diverted through the northern route.

The diversion of this current was the impact of the Argo Semeru 17 train, the Surabaya Gubeng-Gambir relationship, which fell.

Agus said KAI carried out evacuation efforts on the passengers of the former Argo Semeru 17 train by diverting it to the Sawunggalih train to Kroya or Purwokerto Station, to continue with other trains to Jakarta.

The train passengers 6 Argo Wilis were evacuated using the YIA Airport Train to Yogyakarta Station to be diverted to another train to Surabaya.

"To minimize the impact of delays on other trains, KAI engineered the operating pattern by turning the trains that should have been through the Jogyakarta-Kutoarjo road plot (south route), diverted through the Tegal-Semarang road plot (North route)," he said in an official statement, Tuesday, October 17.

Berikut KA-KA yang mengalami dampak kejadian tersebut dan dilakukan pola mengahkan operasi twist di antaranya:

1. KA 115 (Ranggajati) from Yogkakarta-Solo with KA 139KS2 from Solo-Cirebon with plb 115KS

2. KA 211 (Logawa) from Solo-Tegal with Plb 211KS, from Tegal-Purwokerto with Plb 211KS2

3. KA 105 (Gayabaru Malam Selatan) with Plb 105KS (Solo-Cirebon Prujakan)

4. KA 122 (Jokotingkir) with Plb 222KS2 (Cirebon Prujakan/Solo), to KA 222KS1 (Solo/Purwosari)

5. KA 124 (Bawatkarta) with plb 124KS (Cirebon/Solo)

"Currently the evacuation team is in the field to evacuate and secure passengers. The evacuation team in the field has also coordinated to bring in a series of heavy equipment and rescue locomotives to evacuate the affected facilities," said Agus.

Currently, Agus said the cause of the incident is still in the further investigation stage. The chronology of this incident began when the Argo Semeru train with train registration number 17 of the Surabaya Gubeng-Gambir relationship experienced a landslide in the intersection between Sentolo-Wates Station KM 520+4 on Tuesday 17 October at 13:15 WIB.

Some time later, at 13:25 WIB the series of KA 6 Argo Wilis Bandung-Surabaya Gubeng arrived from the west and visited Argo Semeru's train series.

As a result of this, the cross-section plot cannot be passed in both directions.

There were no fatalities in this incident. There were 4 victims of minor injuries experienced by train passengers, of which 1 person was hospitalized while 3 people were undergoing outpatient treatment.

"KAI apologizes profusely for the unwanted events by all parties. We with related parties continue to make efforts to evacuate and normalize the route so that the journey returns smoothly," concluded Agus
