JAKARTA - President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) inaugurated the Indonesia Arena or the Indoor Multifunction Stadium (IMS) in the Gelora Bung Karno (GBK) area, Monday, August 7.

PLN President Director, Darmawan Prasodjo, said that the Indonesia Arena was equipped with electricity with the ZDT scheme that was dedicated so that every national and international sporting event or concert would take place without flickering.

Supporting equipment such as the Mobile Substation Unit (UGB), Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS), Mobile Distribution Control Center (DCC) as well as standby posts and PLN officers will be alerted at the substation to ensure layered electrical security at every event held, concluded Darmawan.

Previously, President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) said that Indonesia now has an international standard stadium with a capacity of 16,000 spectators.

"Today we already have a name Indonesia Arena, a stadium with a capacity of approximately 16,000 spectators, and the construction only takes 18 months," said Jokowi.
