Provide Competitive Prices, ABB Supply Miniature Circuit Breakers For PLN

JAKARTA - ABB will provide a miniature power circuit break (MCB) for PT PLN (Persero). Later, the MCB will be produced locally at the ABB factory.

The signing of the contract was carried out today at the PLN head office in Jakarta by the President Director and Country Holding Officer, PT ABB Sakti Industri Gerard Chan and the Director of New Renewable Project and Energy Management of PT PLN (Persero) Wiluyo Kusdwiharto.

New Renewable Director of Project and Energy Management President Director and Country Holding Officer, PT ABB Sakti Industri Gerard Chan said ABB is ready to provide MCB at competitive prices, local production capacity and TKDN (Domestic Electricity Content Level) content.

"ABB can continue to realize the company's commitment to supporting PLN through MCB which is performing well and produced locally," said Gerard Chan, Friday, July 28.

He continued, the signing of the contract between ABB and PLN emphasized the commitment of the two companies to continue to provide quality products for PLN customers in the country, which of course will help provide protection for homes and electrical devices from damage due to short circuits and excessive use.

Gerard added, for more than twenty years, ABB has a proven track record as a supplier of MCB to PLN with good quality and qualified production capacity.

"ABB is a pioneer in the development of MCB in the world. In Indonesia, the ABB MCB has been equipped with SNI (Indonesian National Standard) and SPLN (PLN company standard) certificates that provide certainty in safety, quality and good performance," Gerart explained.

Thus, users will get certainty in the protection and reliability of products when using the ABB MCB. In addition, the ABB MCB also has a high domestic content level.

Director of New Renewable Project and Energy Management Wiluyo Kusdwiharto said, PLN continues to strive to provide the best service to customers, one of which is by utilizing quality electrical materials with high TKDN content.

"All the materials we use certainly have the best quality and we prioritize products that have a high TKDN content. We do this to ensure that the quality of service for customers can be maintained," said Wiluyo.
