JAKARTA - The first flying group (cluter) of pilgrims from King Abdul Aziz International Airport, Jeddah has landed at Soekarno Hatta International Airport (Soetta), Tuesday, July 4.

Director General of Civil Aviation, M.Kristi Endah Murni said as many as 371 pilgrims and 5 Hajj officers had arrived at Soekarno Hatta Airport using Saudia Airline aircraft at 15.47 WIB.
The arrival of the pilgrims at Soekarno-Hatta Airport is planned to take place from July 4 to August 4, 2023 using Garuda Indonesia and Saudia Airline airlines.
"Alhamdulillah, the arrival of the plane carrying the first batch of pilgrims at Soekarno Hatta Airport went smoothly. Hopefully, until the last batch of flight operations will run safely, safely and comfortably," he said in an official statement, Tuesday, July 4.
Kristi said the Directorate General of Hubud together with relevant ministries/agencies and aviation stakeholders ensure the readiness of all operational facilities and services for the arrival of pilgrims properly, especially the elderly pilgrims.

From the airport, continued Kristi, the pilgrims were dispatched to the Hajj dormitory using 6 Damri Bus units escorted by the Soekarno Hatta Health Quarantine Center.
