PT PGN Tbk meets the natural gas needs of PT Lotte Chemical Indonesia (LCI) which is predicted to be one of the largest petrochemical industry investments in Southeast Asia and operates in Cilegon, Banten.
The Gas Sale and Purchase Agreement (PJBG) has been implemented between PGN and LCI for natural gas absorption of 2.62 10.5 BBTUD.
General Manager of PGN Sales Operation Region II (SOR II) Sonny Rahmawan Abdi explained that natural gas from PGN will be used for cooking fuel with the main product, namely Ethylene. The plan, Gas In will be carried out in June 2024.
PGN will build an infrastructure for the distribution of MRS gas and gas pipelines to LCI's buoyer for gas in June 2024. Throughout 2023, PGN in the Cilegon area was able to distribute 88 106 BBTD of natural gas.
