Build ASN Flats And Plants At IKN, Ministry Of PUPR Uses Hybrid System

The Directorate General of Housing of the Ministry of PUPR will soon build vertical housing or flats (rusun) for State Civil Apparatus (ASN) and defense and security officers (Hankam) in the capital city of Nusantara (IKN), East Kalimantan.

The Director General of Housing at the Ministry of PUPR, Iwan Suprijanto, said that the construction of ASN and Hankam flats would implement modular and volumetric preprinting technology. With modular preprinting technology, the time needed for construction completion can be faster.

The technology was previously used to build permanent housing (huntap) after the earthquake in Cianjur, West Java.

"We will use the hybrid system for the construction of ASN and Hankam Flats at IKN. (Now) it is still a tender and is expected to be contracted in early July 2023," said Iwan at a Hearing Meeting (RDP) at the DPR RI Building, Jakarta, Tuesday, June 13.

The construction of 47 ASN flat towers for the government portion will cost a budget ceiling of up to Rp9.4 trillion in Multi Years Contract (MYC) 2023-2024.

Furthermore, said Iwan, as much as Rp3.7 trillion in the budget for the construction of the ASN IKN flats came from the State General Treasurer Budget Section (BA BUN).

In addition to ASN flats, the Directorate General (Ditjen) of Housing is also working on a ministerial landed house project at IKN with 36 units.

Meanwhile, the progress of the construction of ministerial landed houses in IKN has reached 11 percent with 14 units that have started construction.

The total State Revenue and Expenditure Budget (APBN) disbursed for the construction of ministerial houses in IKN reached IDR 520.46 billion in MYC 2022-2024.

The house of the minister of IKN is targeted to be ready to live in June 2024, along with the relocation of the nation's capital from the city of Jakarta to the first phase of IKN.
