Pertamina Patra Niaga Regional Sumbagsel Deposits IDR 1.4 Trillion To The South Sumatra Provincial Government

JAKARTA - Pertamina Patra Niaga Regional Sumbagsel reported that it had deposited IDR 1.4 trillion to the Provincial Government (Pemprov) of South Sumatra through the Motor Vehicle Fuel Tax (PBBKB).

"In 2022 for South Sumatra Province, Pertamina Patra Niaga Regional Sumbagsel has deposited PBBKB worth IDR 1.4 trillion to the Provincial Government," explained South Sumatra Area Manager Communication, Relation & CSR Relations, Tjahyo Nikho Indrawan, quoted on Saturday, May 13.

Nikho explained that Pertamina Patra Niaga had carried out its obligations in depositing PBBKB during the period January to December 2022.

"PBBKB is one of the incomes that has a very significant impact on local governments in carrying out regional development," he continued.

According to Nikho, to increase regional income from PBBB originating from fuel providers, Pertamina certainly strives so that non-subsidized fuel sales can continue to rise in the midst of an increasingly competitive business environment.

"Pertamina is very obedient and obedient to government regulatory policies, especially in the field of taxation," he added.

Nikho also expressed his appreciation and gratitude to the people throughout Sumbagsel who have chosen to use quality and environmentally friendly fuel oil (BBM) from Pertamina.

He hopes that the public's interest in using quality fuel (Pertamax Series and Dex Series) will increase because it will have a direct impact on tax payments that can be used for the development of the province.

"Thank you to people who continue to use quality fuel. Increasing the use of quality fuel greatly has an impact on Regional Revenue through PBBKB, so that development in the regions can continue to grow," concluded Nikho.
