D-7 Lebaran 2023, Train Tickets Until May 3 Are Still Available

JAKARTA - Train tickets for the Eid 2023 transportation period are still available on Sunday or D-7 before Eid al-Fitr 1444 Hijriah, which is expected to fall on April 22.

PT Kereta Api Indonesia (KAI) has implemented the Eid 2023 transportation period starting from April 12 to May 3, 2023.

"The long-distance train tickets that are still available during the Eid 2023 transportation period include Argo Bromo Anggrek (Gambir - Surabaya Pasarturi pp) train, Argo Dwipangga train (Gambir - Solo Balapan pp), Argo Parahyangan train (Gambir - Bandung pp)," said KAI VP Public Relations Joni Martinus, quoted by ANTARA, Sunday, April 16.

In addition, there is also the Sembrani Train (Gambir - Surabaya Pasarturi pp), Taksaka Train (Gambir - Yogyakarta pp), Purwojaya Train (Gambir - Cilacap), Main Senja Yk (Pasar Senen - Yogyakarta pp).

Based on KAI's monitoring on Sunday, April 16, at 07.00 WIB, long-distance train tickets that have been sold for train departures during the Eid 2023 transportation period are 2,170,643 tickets or 71 percent of the total tickets provided, namely 3,065,404 tickets. This number will still increase because sales are still ongoing.

Meanwhile, train trips whose occupancy reaches 100 percent, namely Airlangga Train (Pasar Senen - Surabaya Pasarturi pp), Sri Tanjung Train (Lempuyangan - Ketapang pp), Kahuripan Train (Kiaracondong - Blitar pp), Additional Pasundan Train (Kiaracondong - Surabaya Gubeng pp).

Then, KA Rajabasa (Kertapati - Tanjungkarang pp), KA Bengawan (Pasar Senen - Purwosari pp), KA Probowangi (Surabaya Gubeng - Ketapang pp), KA Bukit Serelo (Kertapati - Lubuklinggau pp), KA Tawang Alun (Lang Kota Lama - Ketapang pp), KA Ranggajati (Cirebon - Jember pp), KA Jayabaya (Pasar Senen - Malang pp).

Meanwhile, the date of departure that many passengers ordered was April 24 with ticket sales reaching 94 percent.

"If the desired ticket runs out, the customer can select an alternative date or take advantage of the Connecting Train feature in the KAI Access application which will help provide travel options by combining a connecting train schedule," he said.
