315 Thousand Vehicles Leave Jabodetabek Before And On Good Friday

JAKARTA - PT Jasa Marga (Persero) Tbk recorded as many as 315,857 vehicles leaving the Jabotabek area on the H-1 until Good Friday 2023 which falls on the period Friday 7 April.Corporate Communication & Community Development Group Head of PT Jasa Marga, Lisye Oktaviana said, this figure represents the cumulative number of traffic flows from the four Main Toll Gates (GT), namely GT Cikupa (to Merak), GT Ciawi (to Puncak), and GT Cikampek Utama (to Trans Java) and GT Kalihurip Utama (to Bandung)." The total volume of traffic leaving this Jabotabek area rose 7.07 percent when compared to the normal traffic," he said in a written statement to the media, Saturday 8 April. For the distribution of traffic leaving Jabodetabek towards three directions, namely a majority of 165,010 vehicles or 52.2 percent headed East (Trans Java and Bandung), 81,240 vehicles or 25.7 percent headed towards the West (Merak), and 69,607 vehicles or 22 percent headed towards the South (Puncak). As for details, traffic leaving Jabodetabek towards Trans Java via GT Cikampek Utama Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road, with a total of 57,044 vehicles, up by as much as 29 percent of normal traffic. Meanwhile, traffic leaves Jabodetabek towards Bandung via the Main Kalihurip Toll Road Cipular, with a total of 107,966 vehicles, up by 56.8 percent from normal traffic. "The total traffic leaving Jabodetabek towards Trans Java and Bandung via both GTs is 165,010 vehicles, up by 29 percent from normal traffic," continued Lisye. Then traffic leaving Jabodetabek towards Merak via the GT Cikuang-Merak Toll Road is 81, 240 percent lower than normal traffic.

Jasa Marga also appealed to road users to anticipate trips before entering the toll road.
