In Addition To The Trans Sumatra Toll Road, Hutama Karya Speeds Up Construction Of 2 Dams This Year

JAKARTA - PT Hutama Karya (Persero) or HK will focus on completing the construction of the Trans Sumatra Toll Road (JTTS) and two dams in Indonesia this year.

Executive Vice President Corporate Secretary Hutama Karya Tjahjo Purnomo said the two dams that will speed up the construction are the Tigadihaji Dam and the Ameroro Dam.

"This year, Hutama Karya targets the completion of the 361 km JTTS construction and several other construction service projects, including the Tigadihaji Dam in South Sumatra, Ameroro Dam in South Sulawesi," he said in an official statement, Wednesday, March 29.

Not only toll roads and dams, said Tjahjo, other projects that Hutama Karya will complete this year are Sanglah Hospital in Bali, Turyapada Tower in Bali, PLTGU Tambak Lorok in Semarang and EPC Tuban Jetty in East Java.

Furthermore, Tjahjo said the company was indeed focused on completing ongoing projects, while searching for new projects.

"One of the new projects being worked on by Hutama Karya is the Karangjoang-KKT Kariangau IKN Toll Road which is targeted for completion in 2024," he said.

In 2022, Hutama Karya successfully completed several mega projects starting from the Trans Sumatra Toll Road (JTTS) of the Binjai-Langsa section of the Binjai-Stabat (11.8 km), Bengkulu-Taba Penanjung (3.4 km) section.

Then, Pekanbaru-Bangkinang Section (30.9 km), Semantok Dam in East Java, Alkohr Mosque in West Java, Dr. Ben Mboi Hospital in East Nusa Tenggara.

Tjahjo said that turning 62 years old today, the company is committed and always optimistic to continue to move quickly in the success of infrastructure project development and business development with the best work for Advanced Indonesia.
