JAKARTA - The Ministry of Finance (Kemenkeu) is not complacent with the realization of Non-Tax State Revenue (PNBP) which recorded positive results at the beginning of the year.

The Director General of Budget at the Ministry of Finance Isa Rachmatarwata explained that the realization of the PNBP in February 2023 had touched IDR 86.4 trillion. This figure is equivalent to 19.6 percent of this year's APBN target which is set at IDR 441.4 trillion.

"Our PNBP, when viewed as high as February, was 86.6 percent compared to the same period in 2022. But last year the increase in commodity prices was not significant, this affected," he said in a media gathering in Jakarta, Tuesday, March 21.

According to Isa, the latest conditions show indications of weakening commodity prices to normal levels.

"This is what we must be aware of with future commodity prices," he said.

Based on the latest minutes of the February 2023 edition of the APBN, it is known that the price of a number of global commodities that are the mainstay of Indonesia's exports has decreased, such as crude palm oil (CPO) which has fallen minus 27 percent year on year (yoy). Then the new price of coal also experienced a decline of 55.5 percent year to date (ytd).

Meanwhile, the realization of PNBP for the 2022 period was recorded at IDR 588.3 trillion or 122.2 percent of the target of Presidential Decree 98/2022 which became the basis for the implementation of the State Budget last year.

That number grew 28.3 percent from last year which has also jumped to the level of IDR 458.5 trillion.
