JAKARTA - The Ministry of SOEs plans to relocate the location or relocation of the Oil Fuel Terminal (TBBM) or Plumpang Depot owned by PT Pertamina (Persero) to the Port area. This transfer will certainly not use the state budget (APBN).

The Special Staff of the Minister of SOEs, Arya Sinulingga, emphasized that this Plumpang Depot belongs to Pertamina for the company's business interests. Therefore, the budget will be sourced from Pertamina's internal finances.

"What is certain is not using the APBN. Use Pertamina's money, yes, that's Pertamina's business," he told reporters when met in Sarinah, Jakarta, Thursday, March 9.

Regarding how much Pertamina has prepared to rebuild Depo on Pelindo's land, Arya is still reluctant to mention the nominal.

"We have predicted, yes, just wait," he said.

When asked what happened to the old building after Pertamina Plumpang's Depot was officially moved, Arya said that his party handed it over to PT Pertamina (Persero). The reason is, the land and buildings are Pertamina's assets.

"Yes, it's up to Pertamina. It's Pertamina's. Who does it belong to? If it belongs to Pertamina, what do Pertamina like to be, "he explained.

As is known, SOE Minister Erick Thohir plans to relocate the Plumpang Fuel Terminal (TBBM) belonging to PT Pertamina (Persero) to the Port area. The transfer is estimated to take 2.5 to 3 years.

Regarding the discourse on moving TBBM to the port area, Pelindo is currently carrying out further construction in the area at the New Priok terminal, where there is an area designated as a Product Terminal.

This area can be considered as a new location for TBBM. The land as referred to will be ready in 2024.

"The Production Terminal location that we have prepared will be located right on the watersfront, making it easier to unload oil and gas from the ship to the terminal and vice versa," said Pelindo Company Secretariat Group Head Ali Mulyono in his statement, Wednesday, March 8.
