Ministry Of Finance's Statement On The Rafael Alun Cs Case: We Commit To Strengthen Employee Integrity

The Ministry of Finance (Kemenkeu) is said to strengthen reform in the internal body by maintaining and strengthening the integrity of employees after the case of tax person Rafael Alun Trisambodo (RAT) Cs.

Inspector General Awan Nurmawan Nuh said his party in the form of realizing this through the Integrity Framework (KKI) system which is implemented with three models, namely management as the head of the work unit, compliance in each echelon I unit, and Inspectorate General as the third line.

"This incident is a momentum to clean up," he said, quoted on Thursday, September 3.

According to Awan, the latest evidence is the dismissal of RAT as a State Civil Apparatus (ASN). He said the Ministry of Finance had also collaborated with law enforcement officials to investigate the case in question.

"Regarding the pension, after being fired as an ASN, the KPK will still carry out an examination, so that it cannot be processed for retirement and waiting for the completion of the criminal justice. After a criminal decision is made, if the person concerned is proven to have committed a criminal act of office, then he will not be given a pension," he said.

Meanwhile, regarding the development of the case of Customs and Excise employee Eko Darmanto (ED), a dismissal has been carried out. Awan explained that the person concerned admitted that he did not fully report his assets.

"Itjen melakukan pemeriksaan lanjutan dan berkoordinasi dengan PPATK, KPK, serta pihak terkait lainnya," tegas dia.

The institution led by Sri Mulyani also said that it was also carrying out a clarification program crash activity to follow up on the Wealth Report of officials/employees based on verification results and based on high-level risk profiles.

"Currently a team has been formed to clarify the matter, from the results of the clarification, if an alleged disciplinary violation is found, it will be further processed in accordance with applicable regulations," concluded the Cloud.
