JAKARTA - PT Chery Sales Indonesia (CSI) officially introduced its newest product profitable 5 at the 2023 Indonesia International Motor Show (IIMS) at JIExpo Kemayoran, Jakarta, on Thursday, February 16.

Chery will marketIONa 5 in two variants, namely Z for IDR 328 million and type RZ for IDR 398 million. The RZ type is the highest version.

CSI President Shawn Xu said the price given to the Chery car had gone through various stages, including inclusion from the results of internal surveys.

"We want to give a breakthrough, one of which is at an attractive and competitive price in the segment," Shawn Xu said at a press conference at IIMS.

According to Shawn, the price offered by his party is not too expensive, so this Crossover SUV is expected to be a volume market for sales in Indonesia.

"Indonesia is an important country for us among other right-handed countries, becauseIONda 5 is a global model that has many selling points," he said.

On the same occasion, PT CSI Vice President Harry Kamora said, the price given by his party is currently a special offer during the IIMS 2023 implementation.

"This is the price of a lock price, so consumers will get this price up to the launch or fixed price. For pre-booking, consumers only need to spend IDR 5 million, and when launching (launch) the booking will be IDR 10 million," explained Harry.

This car comes with a 1,500 cc turbo engine and transmission of 9 virtual accelerations,IONda 5 is known to be ready to compete with Honda HR-V for the Indonesian market. Meanwhile, in terms of consumer targets, it will target young people. Because, the appearance is quite stylish.

"There are 64 colors of lights that can be arranged as desired," added Harry.
