The business wing of PT Bank Muamalat Indonesia, namely the Muamalat Institute, is known to have established an important partnership with BPR Pekalongan in order to strengthen business strategies and business development.

Muamalat Institute Executive Director Anton Hendrianto said his party would support BPR Pekalongan through efforts to improve the quality of human resources (HR).

According to Anton, as a pioneer of Islamic banking in Indonesia, Muamalat has the capacity and capability to encourage other financial service institutions to develop the business sector that is targeted.

"The Muamalat Institute is open and very supportive of the business development program of BPR Pekalongan, especially in terms of human resources because this is the main key to success," he said in a written statement on Monday, February 13.

Anton explained, BPR Pekalongan has a long-term work plan that is in accordance with Muamalat's core business. For this reason, he assessed that the synergy that was built was quite appropriate in order to ensure that the expansion direction was on target.

"We are ready to support the transformation of BPR Pekalongan into sharia or BPRS. We will also support various trainings such as business management, service excellence, accounting, and handling Anti-Money Laundering and Prevention of Terrorist Financing (PPT)," he stressed.

On the same occasion, the President Director of BPR Pekalongan Agus Djunaedi said the presence of this working partner was very important in order to smooth out the company's big plan.

"Our hope is that employees will be able to improve competence in the field of financing analysis so that later the Pekalongan BPR can develop more rapidly and have a positive impact on the community," he said.

Similarly, Pekalongan Mayor Achmad Afzan Arslan Djunaid said the local government provided full support for the development strategy of BPR Pekalongan.

"Through increasing the performance of regional banks, we can further provide benefits for the surrounding audience," said Achmad.
