PLN Electricity Will Enjoy 7,465 Families In Wakatobi For 24 Hours

A total of 7,465 families on Kaledupa Island and Binongko Island, Wakatobi Regency, Southeast Sulawesi, will enjoy 24-hour electricity from PT PLN (Persero).

This electricity is expected to provide economic benefits and help teaching activities for school students. Wakatobi Regent, Haliana, conveyed the signing of the PKS aimed at realizing 24-hour electrical operation on Kaledupa Island and Binongko Island. "I am very touched on when signing PKS, thank God we have all worked hard to try to realize 24-hour electricity," he said. Continuingly, with 24-hour electricity the economy in the region can be stretched because it supports trading activities, business in the fields of fisheries and tourism. The Regent also said that the signing of this collaboration is a prayer for the Wakatobi Regency community.

"Thank you to PLN for your good cooperation and extraordinary response, not knowing fatigue and not knowing the time. We hope that later when electricity operates 24 hours, the community will also participate in maintaining the sustainability of its main supply when there are trees that have the potential to cause supply disruptions," said Haliana.
