Leakout List 16 Toll Roads That Will Operate This Year

JAKARTA - The Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) continues to boost the construction of toll roads in Indonesia. A number of toll roads are also targeted to be fully operational starting this year's Eid.

Director General of Highways of the Ministry of PUPR Hedy Rahadian said, this year there were an additional 142 toll roads, from the construction that had been carried out since last year.

"We report that 2,620 km of toll roads have been operated. It is still dominant in Java, around 1,700 km, but in Sumatra it has reached 738 km. This year, the addition of toll roads operating is 142 km," Hedy told reporters in Jakarta, Wednesday, February 8.

The toll roads targeted to operate on Lebaran this year include the Serpong-Cinere Toll Road and the Cibitung-Cilincing Toll Road. Furthermore, the Cileunyi-Sumedang-Dawuan (Cisumdawu) Toll Road, which is targeted to be fully operational this Eid, and the Ciawi-Sukabumi Toll Road.

"These incidents are important because the traffic jams are really extraordinary. God willing, we will open Eid until Cibadak. Actually, we have PMN to West Sukabumi, but it will not be finished on Eid. Hopefully, by the end of this year we can," said Hedy.

Furthermore, there is the Cimanggis-Cibitung Section 2A Toll Road, then the Cinere-Jagorawi Section 2B Toll Road, Pasuruan-Probolinggo Toll Road to Gending 8.45 km, Serpong-Balaraja Toll Road Section 1B. Then, the 8.5 km Japek II South Kutanegara-Sadang Toll Road will also be fully operational.

Not only in Java, but also in Sumatra, several toll roads are targeted to operate this year. First, the Sigli-Banda Aceh Toll Road section 5, and 4 sections in Kuala Tanjung-Tebing Tinggi.

The following is a list of 16 Toll Roads that will start operating in 2023:

1. Serpong-Cinere Section 2 (Pamulang-Cinere) is 3.64 kilometers long

2. Cibitung-Cilincing Section 4 (Taruma Jaya-Cilincing) along 7.29 kilometers

3. Cisumdawu Sections 6A and 6B (Ujung Jaya-Dawuan) along 5.10 kilometers

4. Cisumdawu Sections 4A and 4B (Cimalaka-Legok) along 8.2 kilometers

5. Cisumdawu Sections 5A and 5B (Legok-Ujung Jaya) along 14.9 kilometers

6. Sigli-Banda Aceh Section 5 (Blang Bintang-Kuto Baro) and Section 6 (Kuto Baro-Baitussalam) along 12.4 kilometers

7. Ciawi-Sukabumi Section 2 (Cigombong-Cibadak) along 11.9 kilometers

8. Cimanggis-Cibitung Section 2A (Jatikarya-Cikeas) along 3.5 kilometers

9. Cinere-Jagorawi Section 3B (Krukut-Limo) along 2.19 kilometers

10. Pasuruan-Probolinggo Section 4A (East-IC Gending) along 8.55 kilometers

11. Serpong-Balaraja Section 1B (CBD-Lego) is 5.4 kilometers long

12. Kuala Tanjung-Tebing Tinggi-Parapat Section 1 along 20.4 kilometers

13. Kuala Tanjung-Tebing Tinggi-Parapat Section 2 along 18.05 kilometers

14. Kuala Tanjung-Tebing Tinggi-Parapat Section 3 along 30 kilometers

15. Kuala Tanjung-Tebing Tinggi-Parapat Section 4 along 28 kilometers

16. Jakarta-Cikampek II Selatan Package 3 (Kutanegara-Sadang) is 8.5 kilometers long.
