JAKARTA - PT Pertamina (Persero) reported that it has deposited as much as IDR 307 trillion throughout 2022 into the state treasury.

Pertamina President Director Nicke Widyawati said the receipts came from taxes, dividends, non-tax state revenues (PNBP) and bonus signatures.

"In 2022, we can say deposits of up to 83 percent of deposits to the state, both in the form of taxes, PNBP, Non-Government Oil and State Condensates (MMKBN) as well as from dividends and bonus signatures with a total of 2022 of IDR 307 trillion assuming ICP in 97 US dollars," Nicke said in a Hearing Meeting (RDP) with Commission VII DPR RI.

Nicke added that Pertamina projects that state revenues in 2023 from Pertamina will reach IDR 268.4 trillion, down 13 percent compared to deposits in 2022.

Nicke said this decline was due to a decrease in revenue in the preparation of the 2023 Company's Work Plan and Budget (RKAP), especially from the upstream sector with a decrease in ICP assumptions according to the 2023 State Budget.

"The point is we will always increase deposits to the state or contribute to the country," continued Nicke.

Nicke detailed, from the deposit to the country, the largest deposit came from taxes of Rp. 219.1 trillion, PNBP of Rp. 84.8 trillion, dividends of Rp. 2.9 trillion, and bonus signatures of Rp. 0.4 trillion.

In his presentation, Nicke also conveyed that Pertamina increased the target of oil and gas lifting (oil and gas) by 2023 by 5 percent. He detailed oil and gas production in 2022 by 1.018 million barrels of oil equivalent per day (boepd). Then, in 2023 it is targeted at 1.055 million boepd.

"Our oil and gas production for equivalence with barrels of oil per day is 1 million oil and gas in 2022, we can produce every day. In which 2023 it increases 5 percent to 1,055,150 equivalent oils per day," concluded Nicke.
