Customs And Excise Gives Fiscal Facilities To Export-Oriented Jombang Entrepreneurs

The Directorate General of Customs and Excise at the Ministry of Finance is said to have provided special fiscal facilities to the cooperative maker company in Jombang, PT Carmax Technology Indonesia, which carries out export-oriented business activities.

Head of the Kediri Customs and Excise Service Section Farid Fahrudi said PT Carimax can further enjoy incentives and fiscal stimulus if it focuses on production activities in tied areas (KB).

Farid explained that the tied area is a place for hoarding to hoard imported goods and/or goods originating from other places in the customs (TLDDP) to be processed or combined, the results of which are mainly for export.

"If a company becomes a KB, then when importing, import duties and taxes in the context of importing (PDRI) will be suspended, and inspection of goods will be carried out at the factory location, so there is no need to wait long at the port," he said in a press statement, Tuesday, October 17.

According to Farid, his party will continue to provide industrial assistance to business actors so that efficiency and increased production can be maximized.

"We will continue to optimize visits and assistance in the hope of providing information and understanding to entrepreneurs that there are fiscal policies that can accommodate the company's needs to be more developed and advanced," he stressed.

On the same occasion, representatives of PT Carimax Susan also received the visit of Sri Mulyani's ranks.

"We are pleased to know that there is a fiscal policy that can provide benefits for the company's development," he said.

According to VOI records, customs and excise performance throughout 2022 is quite encouraging. This is reflected in the realization of revenues which reached Rp317.8 trillion or 106 percent of the target set at Rp299 trillion.
