Member Of Commission IX Work Creation Perppu Value Needs Education From Various View Angles

Member of Commission IX DPR RI Irma Suryani assessed that the Government Regulation in Lieu of the Job Creation Law (Perppu Cipta Kerja) needs to be reviewed from various perspectives.

The goal is that the Job Creation Perppu does not only benefit one party.

There is something the DPR must see later when this Perppu is submitted to the DPR. It's just that, then to be able to improve the Perppu, what must be improved by the Government and the DPR is to see and detail its derivatives in government regulations," said Irma, in a statement, Wednesday, January 11.

Irma said that Perppu is indeed the prerogative of the President which does not conflict with the laws and regulations.

However, in implementing the Job Creation Perppu policy later, each party through the DPR RI can provide a number of notes through derivatives in the Ministerial Regulation in detail so as not to be unequal next door.

This Perppu can run, even if it is not rejected by the DPR. Then the DPR must provide notes through derivatives in the Ministerial Regulation. In the Ministerial Regulation there are details that (later) can satisfy workers," he said.

"Don't even cause problems due to not (discussed) in detail (in) the Ministerial Regulation," he continued.

Irma also asked the Ministry of Manpower to convey in detail important points that will later be included in the Ministerial Regulation to workers, if the Job Creation Perppu is ratified.

According to Irma, this is important so as not to cause prolonged riots.

There were also many hoax news that were later arrested by workers who did not understand (because) they only received unilateral information. For articles that are crucial and that, improvements must be made," he said.

"(So) the place is in the ministerial regulation. I think that's what the minister of manpower has to do so that there won't be a commotion," concluded the South Sumatra II legislator.
