PANGKALPINANG - The Bandung Institute of Technology Alumni Association (IA-ITB) will invite 100 Turkish companies to assist the government in increasing investment in Indonesia.

"Next year, we will invite 100 Turkish companies to invest in Indonesia," said Chairman of the IA-ITB Gembong Primadjaja during the 2022 KLB IA-ITB National Working Meeting which was reported by Antara from Pangkalpinang, Sunday, December 18.

He said the meeting with 100 businessmen from Turkey was one of the IA-ITB programs in increasing investment to encourage the economic growth of the people in Indonesia.

"This is the first time the IA-ITB has collaborated with this Turkish businessman," he said.

He hopes that this activity can help the government and all parties in encouraging the economic growth of the community, especially MSME players in developing their business.

"Next year, we will create joint programs for 2023 that rely on MSME empowerment activities and economic recovery," he said.

He added that ITB wants to build new potential in the technology-based MSME product development sector, because ITB is part of the Indonesian nation, not part of a political party or leader of a particular group.

"We want to be able to help the President of the Republic of Indonesia Joko Widodo in empowering human resources and the standard of living of the community," he said.
