JAKARTA - PT Bank Negara Indonesia Tbk. (BNI) is said to have distributed credit facilities to PT Bumi Serpong Damai Tbk (BSDE) worth IDR 1 trillion and a treasury line facility of 2 million US dollars.

BNI Director of Consumer Banking Corina Leyla Karnalies said this facility can be used for business expansion or other corporate action as well as instrumental hedging which can protect against the risk of exchange rate fluctuations amid the uncertainty of current global conditions.

"Synergy between BNI and BSDE is the right moment to encourage business growth, increased performance, and also sales of BSDE, which is the largest player in the property industry in Indonesia," he said in a written statement on Friday, December 16.

According to Corina, the provision of this credit facility is a form of the company's commitment as a national bank to support the development of the property sector business in Indonesia.
