To support development, several technologies will be used by Hutama Karya. For example, Construction Digital Technology such as (MM-GPS) for the 3D Payr application.

Executive Vice President (EVP) Corporate Secretary Hutama Karya Tjahjo Purnomo said, although currently Hutama Karya is still focused on completing the Mega National Strategic Project (PSN) for the Trans Sumatra Phase 1 Toll Road Project, Hutama Karya has also begun to focus on taking part in several IKN projects.

"We are optimistic to work on projects in IKN because we already have quite a lot of portfolios in completing strategic projects in the Kalimantan area such as the Balang Island Bridge, Balikpapan-Samarinda Toll Road, Samarinda Baru Airport, Wisma Atlet, Kota Baru Hospital, Entikong PLBN and so on," said Tjahjo, in an official statement, Thursday, December 15. In the construction of this toll road project, Hutama Karya carried out construction work on a 9.965 km toll road and the construction of a new bridge that passed through rivers and swamps along the 3.435 km.

The Technology used by Hutama Karya

Tjahjo said that the construction of the IKN Toll Road for the Karangjoang-KKT Karingau Segment is planned to use a number of Construction Digital Technology such as (MM-GPS) for the 3D Payr application.

Then, Intelligent Compactor for digital monitoring of compactification, Photogratry for 3D monitoring progress, Building Information Modeling for 3D modeling and Class Detection as well as the use of GNSS aimed at GPS-based surveying.

With the construction of projects in IKN, said Tjahjo, it is hoped that after completion it will provide easy access to transportation, tourism, improve the regional economy and open up opportunities for the community to get jobs.

"The construction of the IKN toll road can be a new source of economic growth for the IKN region and can encourage economic activities through infrastructure investment," concluded Tjahjo.
