The Volume Of Traffic Is Large, Jasa Marga Has Recorded An Increase In Business Revenue By 20.6 Percent

JAKARTA - The performance of PT Jasa Marga (Persero) Tbk until October 2022 shows positive performance.

One of them was marked by an increase in operating income of 20.6 percent compared to the same period in 2021.

This operating income was contributed by an increase in the performance of Toll Revenue by 20.0 percent.

Jasa Marga's Corporate Communication and Community Development Goup Head, Lisye Octaviana, said that the performance of other operating incomes was increased by 27.1 percent from the same period in the previous year.

In line with the Company's positive performance improvement, said Lisye, the company also recorded a traffic volume of 3.33 million vehicles.

"This number has increased by 18.76 percent compared to the January-October 2021 period," he said in an official cage, Friday, December 9.

The three Jasa Marga Group toll roads with the highest daily traffic volume (LHR) in 2022 are the Inner City Toll Road with 515,000 vehicles per day, the Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road with 447,000 vehicles per day, and the Jagorawi Toll Road with 396,000 vehicles per day.

Lisye said, in order to optimize the business portfolio, balance growth and maintain the company's business continuity, throughout 2022, Jasa Marga will continue its asset recycling program as part of its corporate strategy to balance the company's growth and sustainability.

One of them, which also contributed to the Company's positive performance, was the signing of the Deed of Sale and Purchase Agreement between the company and PT Margautama Nusantara for PT Jasamarga Jalanlayang Cikampek, a subsidiary of PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol which manages the MBZ Flyover.

"The company currently manages a total of 50 percent of operating toll roads throughout Indonesia or 1,260 km of the company's total toll road concessions of 1,809 km," he explained.

In managing the toll road project which is targeted to be completed in stages in the 2022-2025 period, said Lisye, Jasa Marga is committed to achieving the target that has been set optimally, continuing to control toll road construction activities by building it gradually.

The six toll road projects are the South Jakarta-Cikampek II Toll Road for Package III Sukabah-Sedang and Package II Setu-Sukabungah; Ngawi-Kertosono-Kediri Toll Road for the Kediri-Kertosono Section, and the Bogor Ring Road Toll Road for the Semplak-Junction Salabendang Intersection Section.

Then, the Probolinggo-Banyuwangi Toll Road for the Probolinggo-Besuki Section; Yogyakarta-Bawen Toll Road and Gedebage-Cilacap Toll Road for the Gedebage-North Garut Section. "The company is also committed to paying attention to the quality of work results, work safety, and prioritizing the use of domestic products," he said.
