East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) Governor Viktor Bungtilu Laiskodat said the provincial economy he leads will continue the recovery trend in 2023 in line with conditions for national economic recovery.

"Although there are a number of problems and challenges and deselerations, the NTT economy in 2022 has gradually recovered and will continue until 2023 with a projection of growing in the range of 4.31-5.11 percent," he said in a statement quoted by Antara, Tuesday, December 6.

He said the economy of NTT was gradually recovering in line with the growth of various sectors such as agriculture, trade, and tourism, which increased.

Laiskodat said this economic recovery trend is a luminosity and dynamics in itself for the continuation of the momentum of economic recovery and development.

"This recovery is driven by collaborative, synergy, and innovation work that strengthens resilience and revival towards advanced NTT," he said.

Laiskodat said that in the future, apart from continuing to pay attention to the function of game changer elements related to the COVID-19 pandemic, the government will continue to maintain and optimize economic recovery efforts by opening and expanding the productive sector.

In addition, it encourages integrated financing, such as enthusiasm and ecosystem systems in the Sapi Panen Corn Planting Program (TJPS), livestock ecosystems, and others.

He said the provincial government (Pemprov) also continues to encourage the digitization of the economy and finance in the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) sector, cooperatives, Village-Owned Enterprises (BUMDes), market players and others.

In addition, it encourages the acceleration of budget realization, electronicization of government revenues, a conducive investment climate through policy mix synergies, acceleration of regional financial access, and others needed according to the conditions of problems in the community or region.

Laiskodat also invites all elements of the government, business world, and society, to continue to strengthen synergies to control regional inflation so that the NTT economy continues the growth trend according to existing projections.
