JAKARTA - PT Pertamina (Persero) has started testing the purchase of subsidized diesel using a QR Code. This trial has begun to be implemented in 11 districts/cities and has been implemented at Pertamina's gas stations.

"Starting December 1, 2022, a trial will be carried out regarding the use of QR codes for purchasing subsidized diesel fuel in several areas," the management wrote, quoted on Tuesday, December 6.

For information, subsidized Solar users in 11 cities are recorded for trials that have registered their vehicles in the MyPertamina application only need to show a QR Code or QR Code to Pertamina gas station officers, either from a cellphone or print or printed.

The trial of purchasing subsidized diesel using a QR code is carried out to see the readiness of digital infrastructure, readiness of supervisory services and operators as well as socialization of how to transact using a QR code to the public.
