West Java Is Optimistic About The Realization Of The Issuance Of 600,000 MSMEs By The End Of This Year.

The West Java Investment and One Stop Integrated Service (DPMPTSP) has issued 511,000 business identification numbers (NIB) for micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs). This number is recorded until November 15, 2022.

"This number is targeted to continue to grow to one million NIB in 2023. In our calculation, one month it can issue 50,000 NIB for business actors, so by the end of 2022 we should have achieved 600,000 thousand," said the Head of the West Java DPMPTSP. Noneng said that since 2021 the West Java DPMPTSP has cared about the creation of an investment ecosystem. According to him, one sector that is focused on facilitating the issuance of NIB for MSMEs.

He said that his party would continue to disseminate and facilitate MSME actors to have NIB. "Based on current data, there are 7.5 million UMK players in West Java and only 7 percent of those who have NIB," he said.

According to him, the government to the sub-district and village levels carried out pick-up of the ball in facilitating the manufacture of NIB. Based on data until the third quarter of 2022, Sumedang Regency is the area that has issued the most NIBs for UMKs, namely more than 35,000 perpetrators.
