Realize The Concept Of Environmentally Friendly Tourism, Kemenparekraf Invites To Trace The Carbon Footprint Record After The G20 Bali Summit

JAKARTA - The Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy/The Tourism and Creative Economy Agency (Kemenparekraf/Baparekraf) collaborated withTalimin.com to record the carbon footprint offset left after the G20 Summit in Bali on 15-16 November 2022. This is an effort to realize the concept of environmentally friendly sustainable tourism. Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy (Menparekraf) Sandiaga Salahuddin Uno said the calculation of this carbon footprint aims to preserve the environment. "We assigned Tracein to calculate how much carbon emissions from this G20 and roughly whether this G20 has succeeded in offsetting in terms of carbon emissions," Sandiaga said in a written statement, Thursday, November 17. He said later the results of the counting would be announced in the Asean Travel forum 2023 in February.
