JAKARTA - The Ministry of Transportation has restricted regular flights to and from Bali from November 13-17, 2022, in order to balance the VVIP flights of the G20 delegates with domestic and international regular flights.

The Ministry of Transportation itself has issued a Circular (SE) of the Director General of Civil Aviation Number 12 of 2022 concerning Operational Regulations for Aviation During the Implementation of the G20 Summit at Ngurah Rai Airport, Bali.

In the circular, there are a number of things that are regulated, one of which is regarding operating hours that are set for 24 hours and commercial flights are prohibited from parking overnight or Remain Over Night (RON).
The implementation will start on November 12-18 at I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport.
Meanwhile, the imposition of limited operation for regular flights will be implemented from November 13-17.

"Given that some of the state guests and the G20 delegates still use regular flights. In addition, flights to Bali are also set only through Soekarno Hatta Airport," Adita explained.

"As the host, of course, it must be ensured that the implementation of flight arrangements, starting from arrival to departure, runs safely, orderly and smoothly, and minimizes the impact of disturbances to flight services during the series of activities," he said.
