PLN And Cirebon Regency Government For Electricity Cooperation Technology To Internet Services

PT PLN (Persero) and the Cirebon Regency Government signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) covering a number of aspects including joint socialization related to the provision of electricity to increase community productivity.

Then, optimizing the use of electricity, among others, through premium services, Public Electric Charging Stations (SPKLU)/ Private Electric Charging and others. Also, optimizing Beyond Kwh PLN Group services such as connectivity service, digital solution, Renewable Energy Certificate (REC) and others.

Cirebon Regent Imron Rosyadi said that this collaboration is expected to realize the vision of Cirebon Terang Regency, Cirebon Aman.

He hopes that this collaboration can encourage development and the economy in Cirebon Regency.

"We hope that with this MoU, Cirebon Regency can become Cirebon Terang, Cirebon Katon, the katon is visible and bright. The path, development, economy and insight of the people," he said in an official statement, Wednesday, October 26.

Executive Vice President of Corporate Customer Services and Large Institution of PLN, Agung Surana explained, the company provides various one-stop service services to meet customer needs. For non-minking services, for example, PLN provides premium services. Furthermore, he hopes, this collaboration can support the Cirebon Regency Government program.

"We appreciate the Cirebon Regency Government for this collaboration. We hope this collaboration can provide benefits in supporting the Cirebon Terang program," he said.

PLN ICON Plus's Director of Business Connectivity, Sigit Wicaksono, explained that this collaboration is expected to improve the welfare of the people of Cirebon Regency.

He said that PLN also has Beyond KWh subholding, namely subholdings that focus outside of electricity.

"Well, we take advantage of assets other than to increase revenue as well to provide benefits to the community," he said.

Sigit added that this subholding is engaged in information and telecommunications.

His party does not want to just provide internet services but is a digital solution. So that it provides great benefits to the community.

For example, PLN provides a special platform within the PLN Mobile application for MSMEs to market their products.

"MSMEs also, for example, we also have a platform to market their products. We are the internet provider and we help market the marketing," he concluded.
