JAKARTA - PT KCIC Corporate Secretary Rahadian Ratry revealed that the consortium of contractors for the Jakarta-Bandung High Speed Rail (KCJB) project has successfully completed the process of installing rails or track laying which will be used for dynamic tests ahead of the G20 event.

"Alhamdulillah, the work on the installation of rails from Depo Tegalluar to Jakarta to the starting point for dynamic testing for G20 activities has been completed," said Rahadian as quoted by Antara, Monday, October 10.

Rahadian added that the 17 km track installation work, both on the left and right sides, was successfully completed and is currently entering the fine adjustment stage.

The rail installation is carried out along 17 km and will continue to increase in line with preparations ahead of operations in 2023.

The Overhead Catenary System (OCS) or upper-flow electricity for the needs of KCJB electricity in the dynamic test has been completed.

From starting points or starting points for dynamic testing to Depo Tegalluar, the consortium of contractors has installed 538 poles to then install electrification equipment.

Similar to the installation of rails, the installation of OCS poles also continues along the KCJB route. That way the construction of the KCJB project runs simultaneously so that efforts to accelerate development continue.

"Besides the rails and OCS, we also made other preparations, such as preparation for the Comprehensive Inspection Train (CIT) or inspection trains as well as preparation for the depot area and stations. Hopefully with good cooperation, gradually the preparation for G20 activities will be more mature," said Rahadian.

The big family of the Jakarta-Bandung high-speed rail project continues to make preparations ahead of the G20 event in November.

As is known, at the G20 event later, the Jakarta-Bandung high-speed rail project will be reviewed by Indonesian President Joko Widodo and Chinese President Xi Jinping.

Later, Jokowi and Xi Jinping will see the sophistication of the Electric Multiple Unit or EMU technology and conduct a 15 km dynamic test.

Rahadian also asked for prayers and support from the community so that the KCJB project development process could run smoothly. Not only for the G20 but also for operational implementation.

"Please pray and support from the community so that this KCJB project can run according to the plan that has been set. We, the KCJB extended family, will try our best so that the targets that have been set can be realized properly," he concluded.
