Reviewing Kupang BPKP ASN Flats, Minister Basuki: Take Care And Increase The Reboisation

KUPANG - Minister of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) Basuki Hadimuljono inspected the ASN BPKP flats (Rusun) in Kupang, East Nusa Tenggara (NTT), which have been completed and inhabited since they were inaugurated in July 2022.

This review is in the context of monitoring the implementation of the Operational Maintenance, Optimization, and Rehabilitation (OPOR) policy for PUPR infrastructure.

During his visit, Minister Basuki also signed an inscription marking the completion of construction, as a form of accountability to the public for the completed infrastructure, where the names of contractors and consultants were also listed.

Minister Basuki advised the managers and residents of the flats to be able to properly maintain the condition of the flats that have been built.

"It is also added that the greening can be done by planting shady trees such as Ketapang Kencana," said Minister Basuki.

The construction of this flat is part of the One Million Houses Program implemented by the Ministry of PUPR.

The existence of these flats is expected to be able to provide decent housing for ASN in order to improve better performance.

The Head of the Nusa Tenggara II Housing Provision Center, Yublina, said that the Kupang BPKP ASN Flat was built in 2021 by the implementing contractor PT Karuniaga Intisemesta and Management Consultant PT Buana Rekayasa Adhigana.

"The total budget used for the construction of flats for ASN BPKP East Nusa Tenggara is IDR 20.6 billion," said Yublina.

This flat is built one tower with a height of three floors. The type of dwelling is type 36 which consists of 44 residential units. The 1st floor has 12 residential units including 1 multipurpose room, the 2nd floor has 16 residential units, and the 3rd floor has 16 residential units.

One of the residents, Zulkifli Fachri, stated that he and the other ASNs were very happy and happy to receive the assistance of the Flats from the Ministry of PUPR.

According to him, the building is very good and the facilities are adequate and thanks to the Ministry of PUPR for building the Flats for ASN BPKP East Nusa Tenggara Province.

"Before this flat was built, we lived in a small boarding house. Now we can live in a more decent dormitory and the supporting facilities are very good, comfortable and close to the office so that we can further improve the quality of our performance in supervising finance and development in the province of East Nusa Tenggara," he said.

Also present to accompany Minister Basuki, Secretary General of the Ministry of PUPR Mohammad Zainal Fatah, Inspector General of the Ministry of PUPR T. Iskandar, Expert Staff of the Minister of PUPR for Technology, Industry and Environment, Endra S Atmawidjaja, and Head of the Nusa Tenggara II Housing Provision Center Yublina.
