He explained that so far in Aceh Singkil Regency it has been served by the Singkil and Rimo Customer Service Units (ULP) using a PLTD machine, where with the presence of the GI, electricity supply for the community will be more stable and reliable.

According to him, electricity in Aceh Singkil district will be very conducive, where the voltage received at the Hubung Substation at ULP Singkil and ULP Rimo has 21 KV.

He said that with the previous conditions, the voltage received by ULP Singkil if served by GI Subulussalam was 19kV, this could also have an effect on suppressing the technical substance.

"The activity of GI Singkil in serving ULP Rimo and ULP Singkil has a huge impact on the reliability of PLN services to the community," he said.

According to Noviandri, by switching the operation of electricity from the PLTD or isolated system to the Sumatra system through GI with a voltage of 150 kV, PLN managed to save operational costs.

"Alhamdulillah, with the operation of GI Singkil, PLN managed to save IDR 97 million per month," said Noviandri.
